Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. on and on // the hunter

the band On And On, which have roots in both chi-town and the jucy lucy, have been doing the music thing for a long time. finally though, Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing have combined forces and the results are solid. the trios latest is the album, ‘Give In’ via Roll Call Records. the first track, “The Hunger” is pure ear-candy. peace. noah and the megafauna // when you’re down (the slackjaw’s serenade)

the song “When You’re Down (The Slackjaw’s Serenade)” is taken from the debut album Anthem’s For A Stateless Nation, this eerily creepy (The Heliograph Project-directed) video features Noah and bandmate Ms. Emily St Amand Poliakoff together on camera again. Noah & The MegaFauna // On And On

The band Noah & The MegaFauna best described themselves as, “Equal parts meditation on Gypsy Jazz, and modern song writing and an excuse to stay up late drinking with friends.” And really that is the point of the music. Yes, don’t look too deeply for hidden meaning and esoteric riddles, it’s just sweet swooning music. Kele // What Did I Do // Ft. Lucy Taylor (All The Lights Remix)

Propaganda aside, Kele Okereke (of Bloc Party fame) is still with Bloc Party. That being said, you can check him out doing his solo thing. His first solo effort The Boxer (2010) was met with moderate success, then Kele dropped his follow-up The Hunter (2011). Now, even if you missed all that it’s cool. Kele is still with Bloc Party, and you can still check out his newly reworked remix Ft. Lucy Taylor. I think it’s a winner, but hell what do I know. Peace.
