Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

Aussie song craftsman Dustin Tebbutt is new to me and although that isn’t necessarily a ringing endorsement it’s okay. Because once you listen to the music nothing else will matter anyway. His latest and forthcoming work will come to us in the form of the mini-album Home release. To date we have his study in all things tranquil and adulatory. Apt examples of such would be his Illuminate single and two splendid previous works: The Breach and Bones EPs.
Nevermind the Justin Vernon comparisons, for they will surely have their say. But where Mr. Vernon (Bon Iver) is mystical Dustin Tebbutt is straight forward, more linear and less variegated.
Dustin’s approach floats lyric melodies like spun out and silken emotion. His music packs too a well balanced temperance of beauty with a rippling tension just beneath. Altogether not dissimilar to the powerful formation of a burgeoning star viewed from a safe distance. After the jump I have also included both the audio and lyrics for the track Home.
And now you know why Dustin Tebbutt is our Sunday Best featured artist. The mini-album Home drops September 18th courtesy of Narvik Records. Peace.

Home – Lyrics
You laugh at dead ends
You’re the only one I know
You’re not fond of chances
Any more than letting go
I’m here to keep the ghosts away
So lie down in my arms
‘Cause we’re becoming home
Don’t fly out of my arms
Your ribs like branches
To keep the glowing close
You’re not fond of chances
Not the only one I know
You breathe in with me
I know you’re keeping face
Lost to the celling
You won’t hear me say
I’m here to keep the ghosts away…
As we’re becoming home
You fly out of my arms

And if you missed their first single Won’t You See you can peep the official Ellie Graham-directed video below.
The duos eponymous debut EP from ‘GL’ is out now courtesy of Plastic World. It will be accompanied by remixes from Detroit’s house don Terrence Parker and Running Back head-honcho, Gerd Janson. Peace.

]]>And it seems to me, you’re so far removed, Your voice, it echoes through my head. And it seems to me, you’re too complicated, Think I’m better by myself.
(You Won’t Win)
I’ll rid myself of this war you started.
You’ve got a pulse but you seem so heartless. You found another to tear apart.
Your skin is grey, you’re colour-coded, Should have known to keep my distance. Your sunken face, your mind eroded, You barely even filled a space.
You came my way, and you stole my focus,
Smoke and mirrors game you played.
And I never knew how far you would take me.
(You Won’t Win)
I’ll rid myself of this war you started.
You’ve got a pulse but you seem so heartless. You found another to tear apart.
Why are you running, thought you could come and, Thought you could take control.
So undermining, figured you’d find a,
Problem you could solve.
You tell me you’re sorry, tell me you worry, tell me you found your faults. Then tell me I’m stubborn, tell me I smother, tell me I wrecked it all.
Why are you waiting, watch us decaying, watch as the walls go thin.
So sick inside, thought I could find you, but you won’t let me in.
(You Won’t Win)x3
I’ll rid myself of this war you started.
You’ve got a pulse but you seem so heartless.
You found another to tear apart.

hayden james // hayden james ep
Hayden James will turn your ears out. It’s as simple as that. This Australian crooner serves it up hot and sticky with little room for resistance. Back in June he hit us hard with his Permission To Love joint, and even though its been several months since many have yet to recover. On his recently released and self-titled EP via Future Classic, the track Permission To Love is neatly packaged and scantily clad along side four additional lush tracks. Maybe its the coming Fall weather that has me stocking up on the slow and sensual jams. For playa’s and lovers alike know cold weather ’tis the season for snugglin’ and close quarter romance, right? And Hayden James is standard issue for undercover extracurricular “activities” and akin to throwing another log on the fire. Peace.

]]>Great music from Sydney, Australia taking the physical form in the form the band MOVEMENT. They’re recently signed to Modular Records and the debut single Feel Real is all that and a bag of ganja. Good stuff for sure. But aside from the, “I’ll be your Romeo, you’ll be my Juliet,” reference (hey, no dying here), it’s all good. Peace.
