Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. At times you just have to let the music take you wherever it chooses to lead. However, Vancouver’s Teen Daze inspires the opposite, in that the music goes out on a limb and let’s him take the reigns. Heady stuff for sure. But, when the music trusts you so implicitly the results are sublime. Check out the astral first release “Brooklyn Sunburn” from the forthcoming debut full length All Of Us, Together out May 22nd via Lefse Records. Peace.

Listening to The Morning Clouds is always delightful. However, watching their latest video for the song “A Walk Home” is tough. But maybe that’s the point. Throughout the entire video we are served a lukewarm heaping helping of starched work-a-day glibness. It’s uncomfortable to watch, mostly because it turns a magnifying glass in on the lives we live and how we chose to lead them. The video begs the question: Do we want a life of cookie-cutter mediocrity or do we search for something of real substance?  But alas, we’re all passengers, or even more depressing, participants in the rat race in one way or another. The Morning Clouds dropped their latest LP on October 11th, so it’s available now. I fear though, if I watch the video again I many just get myself a “life coach”, Peace.
