Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

]]>I so glad James Mercer and Co. (The Shins) are so generous with the music, the videos and whatever else they’ve thrown our way. Here, we have another glimpse of what to we can expect from the forthcoming Port Of Morrow LP. On this visual of “Bait And switch” we are treated to The Shins performing live and it’s a most beautiful thing indeed. Is it me, or does James Mercer have one the coolest singing voices, EVER! Make sure you mark you time-keeping devices for March 20th, or course it’s important, that’s the day The Shins release Port Of Morrow to the world. And if you haven’t you can most definitely Pre-Order it HERE. Peace.
And just because I’m such an intense James Mercer fan I’m offering his acoustic take on “Caring Is Creepy” (2010). Whenever this ever becomes available for purchase, is the day I’ll scream shrilly like a over excited adolescent girl. Enjoy.

1. The Rifle’s Spiral
2. Simple Song

5. September
6. Bait and Switch
7. Fall of ’82
8. For A Fool

Port of Morrow was recorded in Los Angeles and Portland over the course of 2011 with James Mercer as usual handling all songwriting duties, lead vocals and the majority of instrumentation. The album was produced by Greg Kurstin and mixed by Rich Costey.
An exact release date as well as touring plans will be announced shortly. As with the dates earlier this year, the upcoming tour will see Mercer leading a Shins lineup of Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jessica Dobson (guitar), Richard Swift (keyboards) and Joe Plummer (drums). (Source TheShins.com)
