Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

TEEN is a band manned with four future UN ambassadors for the of Island Fun! And while this may (or may not) be entirely a truism it rings as such. Teeny Lieberson and company have spun out (through not fault of their own) yet another wonderfully jollified diversion. The music this band puts out is multi-useful too. Say you’re one to worry about such mundane things as so-in-so liking you or the overdue mortgage. Well, this is the album you most assuredly need to drop the needle on muy pronto! And just so you know this album pairs incredibly well with a pint or two (ice cream or beer, your choice). The album Love Yes is out right this very moment via Carpark Records. Peace. The Ryan DeRobertis led outfit Saint Pepsi shakes things up with a bit of fizzy pop sound glow with the track Try Harder. Below, you can listen to the original. Carpark Records is the label and the debut Fiona Coyne/Fall Harder is the 7″. After the jump, we got some Alex Girav directed optics. Peace. Continue reading “saint pepsi | fall harder”
At this point in Toro Y Moi‘s music career he needs little promotion, basically the product sells itself. Regardless of popularity check out the latest video for the song “Say That“. This is the second single reveal from the forthcoming album ‘Anything In Return‘ via Carpark Records set to drop January 22nd. Previously, the single “So Many Details,” was released and you can watch that video here. Peace. Continue reading “toro y moi // say that (official video)”

Continue reading “young magic // you with air (official video)”

in this diy age of young musicians (and not so young), 19-year old yoodoo park is setting himself apart by not only doing what he does for fun, but excelling at it. the part-time californian (he spends his summers in japan) pens dream-pop layered with the tranquil colors of his environs; the muted blue-greens of the crashing pacific and the burnt pinkish-orange sunsets are all evident on his debut explore ep. his is a collection of 7-songs that put the brakes on the rushed urgency of a harried existence. this is great chill-out music, which pairs well with a bottle of wine or shots of daydream with good-vibe chasers. the explore ep opens with,“relax yourself (dolphin cry)” which sets the tone. each the ensuing song never strays from the slow-melting dream floes that continue until the final song, “patio” brushes softly against the skyline; gentle as a whisper. clocking in at 15: 35 minutes this is beautiful quickie for your ears to cuddle with. peace. Continue reading “grmln // explore ep”
South Cackalacka native son Chazwick Bundick aka Toro Y Moi and more recently under the moniker Les Sins is releasing two 7″ via Jiaolong. Both tracks, “Taken” and “Fetch” are a groovier departure from the tranquility of the classic Toro Y Moi chillwave sound. And if you find yourself dancing under the stars to these, well that’s the point. Peace. Continue reading “les sins // taken”
If I could take the tender budding tendrils of a spring flower and the last embers of a dying flame and give these fragile objects a sound them Memory Tapes would be it. Yes, there is fragility here, but most of all there is beauty. And what is chillwave if not beautiful. New Jersey-based Dayve Hawk aka Memory Tapes, has penned “Offers” and it is as delicate a song as they come. It makes me want to crumple into my bed and dream of far off vistas. I hope you enjoy it too. For more, visit Carpark Records. Peace.
The perfect feel good music, bright, not too sweet, and easy on the ears. Toro Y Moi is all these things and then some. The native South Cackalackian, that’s South Carolina for all the uninitiated, is finally getting the recognition he so rightly deserves. Born Chazwick Bundick way back in the day, and now going by the moniker Toro Y Moi, he has created for himself a music that is mixed with the best of several genres, from R&B, Rock, Electronica, etc. the sound has been aptly described as chillwave, I couldn’t agree more. The track below, How I Know is taken from the Underneath the Pine EP, and the accompanying video involves murderous female ghosts looking for a few friends, creepy and funny just how an horror music video ought to be.
