Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

I’ve been a long-time fan of Cyril Hahn and his original version of Grace featuring Kotomi was airtight, but… But along comes the Grace (Palace Slo Mo Edit) and well, yes! The Palace edit sinks a bit deeper into an already tranquil and lost in the eddies track. I like it and I love it more than I like it. Am I making any sense? The original track is one of four featured on the Cyril Hahn’s Begin EP. Check it out after the jump. Peace. Continue reading “cyril hahn | grace | palace slo mo edit”
The brotha’ from a another far northern hemisphere. Canadian good disco citizen extraordinaire Box Of Wolves anoints our collective aural senses with a sub-zero touch. So chill. Box Of Wolves showing signs of summertime with his latest, Let’s Start Again. This one hits you with a Deep House vibe, which both harkens back to the golden days of House and reaches long and strong to the future of the genre. Check out all five sonically impressive incarnations after the jump. Good stuff for ya’ ears for sure. Peace. Continue reading “box of wolves | let’s start again | remixes”
Capitol Cities are channeling Sir Paul McCartney on their Love Away track and I ain’t mad at ’em one bit. It’s a great song with an equally great vibe. And the chorus, “Love, just love away, just do it every day, just do it every way.” I mean really, who can argue with that kind of logic? Not I. The song is the last song on the duo incredible In a Tidal Wave of Mystery LP which debuted recently. I’ve also included their wonderful Staying Alive Remix for all you Bee Gee fans. Bee who? I know right…lol. Also, if you head over to Google Play you can get a FREE DOWNLOAD of the track Kangaroo Court for a limited time only. Peace.
Dream Pop existentialists Young Wonder (Rachel Koeman and Ian Ring) create a beautiful music somewhere entrenched in mysterioso and swirling pastels. The band hails from Cork, Ireland and their latest Show Your Teeth EP is the kind of music by which to dream by. Check ’em out after the jump. Peace. Continue reading “young wonder // electrified”
Trans- Records artist and Minneapolis, MN resident Sombear (electro-pop artistBrad Hale) just dropped his latest single, “Love You In The Dark”. It’s a sultry number with a hypnotic appeal and sensual vibe. The track is taken from his soon to be released Love You In The Dark LP, out July 23rd. Hey, I’m still recovering from his earlier release Incredibly Still. Peace.Continue reading “sombear // love you in the dark”
Swedish electro-pop duo, The Deer Tracks, recently premiered the song “Lazarus,” courtesy of We Are Hunted. In the coming weeks you can expect a series of remixes too. Also you can look for the album ‘The Archer Trilogy Pt. 3‘, via The Control Group. It drops on February 12th. Peace. Continue reading “the deer tracks // lazarus”
Not a new song by any means, but I was going through my iPod and came across the song “Baby Baby Sweet Sweet,” by Hyphen Hyphen. The track is from their ‘Chewbacca I’m Your Mother‘ EP (2011). The song still sounds fresh as a new lover to me. You can also get it on iTunes, Amazon and eMusic. Peace. Continue reading “hyphen hyphen // baby baby sweet sweet”
although the name of this la-based duo maintain a slightly morbid namesake their music is anything but. to the contrary, the music here is lively has anyone could hope for with its mixing and splicing of pop bubbly and r&b rhythms (can you say genre defying?). Dead Times presents a winner with their latest track, “Feel” and ii is the first release since the duo’s self-titled 7-track album earlier this year. and like the lyric in this proclaim… “yeah my best is yet to come”. peace. Continue reading “dead times // feel”
the band On And On, which have roots in both chi-town and the jucy lucy, have been doing the music thing for a long time. finally though, Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing have combined forces and the results are solid. the trios latest is the album, ‘Give In’ via Roll Call Records. the first track, “The Hunger” is pure ear-candy. peace. Continue reading “on and on // the hunter”
from his amazing album ‘hurry up, we’re dreaming’ the artist currently known as m83 offers up a video to his 3rd single release, “steve mcqueen”. this one is a whole bunch of dazzling space pop with heavenward aspirations. just so you know the single will be released with stellar lineup of grandiose remixes from such notables as alluxe, beatauCue, maps and salm. peace.
