Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

James Scott “Jimmy” Tamborello bka Dntel is a lot things, but it’s his skill at composing wickedly chill electronica that has garnered him the most attention. The track “Chill” is a perfect example of his ongoing and ever-expanding oeuvre. Most recently, his latest LP titled Aimlessness is total dream production. This release is 12-tracks of gorgeously sculpted music; it’s the stuff burning candles and iridescent moonlight listen to when they want to vibe out. You can also check out his superb internet show Dying Songs exclusively at dublab, which is the perfect accompaniment to chill evenings spent maxin’ and relaxin’. Peace. Matt Cutler, bka Lone, is a dealer of sorts, he deals in things that go bump in the night. Rightly so there exists warnings galore concerning intoxicants which can be ingested orally or through the old olfactory locale. However, not one warning concerning the dangers of overdosing on music. We all know music can be the ultimate mood altering product, no? Especially, if you’re listening to the lush track “Spirals” by Lone featuring the THC-ridden vocals of Anneka. Yes, this is muy primo product. It’s 100% organic, highly addictive, yet it won’t put you in danger of losing your job or crashing your coche into a tree. You can pre-order the whole enchilada, Galaxy Garden available in iTunes. Peace. Continue reading “Lone // Spirals (Ft. Anneka)”
Médéric and Alexis are just a couple French guys who have combines forces as BeatauCue to rock the developed world nonstop. One listen and your blood shall be electrified and pulsing with groove theory. Check out their song, “Slow Down” getting the Japanese Popstars treatment. Your ear sockets will thank you. Peace.
Meagan James and Corin Roddick are Purity Ring. That said, the duo makes bristling music for a decidedly earthbound heavenly choir. Their new song, “Obedear” is simple beauty wrapped in rainbow gauze. Their new (as yet untitled) LP is expected to drop July 24th, and I’m so looking forward to the tracklist and of course tour dates. Peace. Continue reading “Purity Ring // Obedear”
Come spoon feed your ears some wholesome golden honey. Will Vunderink is Several Girls Galore and let me tell you this is a good time. Listen to the recently released Colorado EP and chase it down with moonlight tonight. You cam get this 4-song EP via bandcamp right now. Peace. Continue reading “Several Girls Galore // Colorado EP”
According to a recent press release they boys from the band Ideals are really nice guys, but we knew that, or at least highly suspected such already. And these nice guys have given fans a little something for their faithful fanship, that and in recognition of Record Store Day. The song, “Flesh And Blood”, it’s a demo but a damn good one, and it’s ours to revel in for as long as it lasts. Thanks guys. Peace.
I want to go to Copenhagen and buy a round for the band members of Alcoholic Faith Mission. It’s simple, what beautiful music they make. Take a look see at the bands official video for the song “Ask Me This” taken from their latest LP of the same name. And if you get a golden opportunity to see this band live I implore you to take it. You can find them on tour, perhaps even someplace nearby. Enjoy. Peace. Continue reading “Alcoholic Faith Mission // Ask Me This (Official Video)”
Yeah, we know Portland is one of the bestest locals on the planet for indie rock bands and the fans who adore them. So, it is of little surprise that local band favorite Mean Jeans is much beloved for making lots of cool punk noise. Billy Jeans, Jeans Wilder and Freak Daniels make it sound like a whole lot of joyful, mayhap, inebriated fun. Check out the squirrely video for the song “Anybody Out There” shot and cut by Brett Roberts. Sure, it’s cheesy but cheese goes well on the great big sandwich of life. By the by, this fun song is just 1 of 13 from MJ‘s latest album On Mars available on iTunes and Amazon. Peace. Continue reading “Mean Jeans // Anybody Out There”
