Flight Facilities // With You (Ft. Grovesnor)

From Australia we have the the sky scraping DJ and production duo known collectively as Flight Facilities. They’re back with something to make you smile (and dance) with their first single release in a minute, “With You” featuring Grovesnor. This track is taken for the same-titled With You EP, which is available now on iTunes and Beatport. Also, after the jump check the brand new video for the song as well. If these two Aussie fly-boys can’t get you to shake a leg, well, perhaps then you don’t need legs. Peace.  Continue reading “Flight Facilities // With You (Ft. Grovesnor)”

Meiko // Leave The Lights On (The Crystal Method Remix)

The artist known only as Meiko has a little big song titled “Leaves The Lights On” and it’s been remixed into a sleeker and slinkier affair by none other than The Crystal Method. However, and not keeping with the song’s theme I think it is apt to keep this song playing with the lights off and do your own version of dirty dancing with some lucky someone. “Leave the Lights On” from Meiko‘s forthcoming album The Bright Side scheduled to drop May 15th. Peace. Continue reading “Meiko // Leave The Lights On (The Crystal Method Remix)”

Paper Diamond // Wavesight EP

What better way to prime the pump for a potentially rad ass Friday and further weekend fun than with the new Wavesight EP from the chronically ill dj/producer Alex Botwin bka Paper Diamond! I fully expect 2012 and beyond to push this rising meteor to the forefront of the dance music scene. Paper Diamond is today’s official weekend instigator. Disclaimer: This blog is totally responsible for the unparalleled revelry which may ensue after ingesting the music presented here via your ear hole. Party on! Oh yeah, after the jump you can get the Wavesight EP as a FREE DOWNLOAD! via Mediafire. Peace. Continue reading “Paper Diamond // Wavesight EP”

Skrillex – Kyoto (Ft. Sirah / gLAdiator Remix)

Skrillex definitely let the Genie out of the bottle on this one, it’s dope and it tastes like an exotic pretzel to my ears. Yup, this one will twist you up in knots and slink its way snake like into your speakers. Yet, as funky as the original Skrillex track is gLAdiator (DJ/production duo Dan Goodman & Ian Johnson) are able to squeeze a little more juicy juice from the passion fruit so to speak. Who needs pills and booze when music like this can get you sky-high! Peace.

****Sorry guys, they removed the track, and it is so dope. Not to worry, go to the Hype Machine link below and you can find it there, and remember to crank it LOUD!****

Want more gLAdiator? Of course you do. Check ’em out on the Hype Machine and their Monthly Remixes on Tumblr as well. Enjoy.

Beet Boxx & JM Good – By Yourself

What do you do when you hear something that makes you want to open a window and scream, “HolyShit! THIS IS SO DOPE!?” Well, in my case I simply get in my spaceship and head to the blogosphere and transmit my signal. I Tweet the masses, and all my lovely followers, will in-turn re-Tweet their friends and so on. In the end, all will have their musical blessing for the day. Yes, perhaps my new moniker should be The Musical Rabbi, The Groove Reverend, or perhaps The Vicar of the Temple of Sound (lol). I anoint ears and offer sound communion. No kneeling required, just stay faithful to the beat. All this to get you through the humdrum of whatever dull job you’re a slave to. I thank my lucky stars for Beet Boxx & JM Good, somehow the universe brought this smooth duo to my attention. Was it an accident or divine intervention? Don’t know, but their cut, “By Yourself,” is the truth. The kind of truth that will make you long to be somewhere ensconced in your lover’s arms. Peace. Modeselektor – (ft. Thom Yorke)

Modeselektor ft. Thom Yorke

Anyone who really knows moi is aware of my affinity for all things Radiohead in general, and my particular admiration for the genius that is Thom Yorke. So, when it was announced that Modeselektor would be featuring Thom Yorke on a few songs on its forthcoming album Monkeytown I was nonetheless elated. So, check out these two leaked gems, “Shipwreck” and “This”. True, Modeselektor is a force even without the added vocals of Mr. Yorke, but combining the two together makes for some pretty potent electric mojo. This only adds fuel to the fire that is my anticipation for the full length album. Hurry up already. Peace.

Here’s a run down on the tracklist:
