Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. amateur best // pleased

One-man band Amateur Best (Joe Flory) does it all. Mr. Flory writes, produces and plays all the instruments, and he also handles the details of the visual artwork surrounding his musical projects. I like the DIY approach, and in the case of Amateur Best and the song Pleased the results are quite agreeable to my eardrums. The Amateur Best debut LP No Thrills is out now via Double Denim Records. Zulu Winter – Let’s Move Back to Front

What do you get when you take Will Daunt (vocals, guitar), Iain Lock (bass), Dom Millard (keyboards), Henry Walton (guitar) and Guy Henderson (drums) and put them all together? Give up? Well, what you get is a fantastic band calling themselves Zulu Winter. A collective of musical mates that are definitely going places. I’m not going to muddy the waters with sonic references to other bands. Frankly speaking, I don’t give a damn who they sound like. Right now I just know I’m picking up what they’re throwing down, so to speak. I recommend that you get these songs and put them in your iPod STAT! I’ve provided a few samples of their music below. Listen to the buoyant “Let’s Move Back to Front” and the beautifully sedate “Never Leave”. Make up your own mind, but I kind of think I know how this is going to end. You pre-ordered it already didn’t you? Peace.
