Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

The Weeknd is a crooner par excellence and his track (and video) are no exception. If you are a fan of Mr. Abel Tesfaye, well, the song “Twenty-Eight,” has everything you’ve come to expect from this Toronto native. It is soulful, sexy and ringed by vocals that will send shivers across her erogenous zones (hey, less work for you right?). By the way this video is a bit explicit so handle your business and show some discretion. Peace. Continue reading “the weeknd // twenty-eight (explicit = nsfw)”
the weeknd drops a new song, “enemy” from his ‘trilogy’ release, it is one of three new songs which accompany the debut release. stay tuned for new remixes. peace. Continue reading “the weeknd // enemy”
The Weeknd has been building tremendous hype for the past couple of years. So naturally there is a great deal of anticipation for his debut trilogy album. Unfortunately, the minus is his debut release contains material we’ve already heard on his previous mixtapes. The positive, is the songs are remastered for this release. Yeah,it’s a small thing. but the big plus is the addition of three new songs, “Twenty Eight”, “Valerie” and “Till Dawn (Here Comes The Sun)”. You can cop the trilogy via itunes. peace. Continue reading “the weeknd // wicked games”
for me the adoration of ms. ellie goulding started with her delicate voice as it sung earlier, and memorable tunes such as, “under the sheets” and the acoustic laden ode “wish i stayed”. but more recently, with her remake of the weeknd’s “high for this” i was smitten all over again. so it is with great anticipation i await the release of her forthcoming sophomore album ‘halcyon’. the album drops october 8th but you can pre-order it via itunes. peace. Continue reading “ellie goulding // anything could happen (submerse remix)”
Oh this works so well. Before I heard this I never imagined anyone doing justice to a The Weeknd cover, but I am here to tell you this Ellie Goulding cover of “High For This” is on point! Oh this is just so sexy in all the right places. Peace Continue reading “ellie goulding // high for this (the weeknd cover)”
Not one to rest on his laurels Brooklyn, NY-based producer Chi Duly puts a hell of a spin on one of Toronto’s soon-to-be favorite sons The Weeknd. And what he’s done is no mean feat, on Balloons Of Haus what you hear (and your body feels) is a cross sampling of The Weeknd’s complete body of work. From his first offering House Of Balloons, then onto Thursday, and finally culminating in the latest Echoes Of Silence. Now, The Weeknd’s growing mass of fans can move from listening to Abel Tesfaye in the bedroom and move it to the dance floor, but I have a feeling the vertical dancing will be just as dirty. My fedora off to Chi Duly for giving us another shining example of his production prowess. Peace. Continue reading “the weeknd // balloons of haus + chi duly”
Let the bass creep curiously into her ears. Around her throat it will kiss reckless beats down in-between her … Yes, this remix is a bit X-rated and as funky as it can get. Paper Diamond is skillful with cutting open a song and inserting nuclear powered artificial hearts like a surgeon at the top of his game. Watch it nah! Don’t get to close to the speakers they’re possessed with the P to the D and his beats will cut cha. Here, Alex B has taken The Weeknd‘s already bangin’ track and poured rocket fuel all over it and the song ignites; like Hendricks taunting flames over his Strat. But we ain’t roasting marshmallows around here (or guitars). No, we’re bringing bodies together like puzzle pieces. Paper diamond + The Weeknd = Vicious! Like I said, “Watch it nah!” Peace.
