Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. saskatchewan // spellbound

The skinny is Saksatchewan began as the project of Orlando, Florida based multi-instrumentalist Chandler Strang. Later on Gery, Dave & Austin joined the fray. Long story (or at least convoluted) short they’ve named themselves after a Canadian province. The makers of a beautifully unique blend of dream-pop have released their debut LP Occasion via Father / Daughter Records. The album is a mix of Pretzel-shaped melancholy, 80 British pop and 90’s white boy soul. I like it. Check out the tracks Spellbound and Possession after the jump. And, you can cop yours at iTunes. daniel hindman + sarah versprille = pure bathing culture. their music is as bright as a longed for summer day replete with whimsical soulful birdsong and fragrant wildflowers. the brooklyn, nyc transplants have put down roots out west, and although the duo saw an early 2012 release via father daughter records the four-track self-titled pure bathing culture ep was being newly released by memphis industries a few months ago (august). peace.
