In case you missed out, Local Natives made some pretty memorable music in 2013, and you’ll still find it reverberating in ears in the most mundane places. That young girl on the bus with her shyness tucked safely within the melody of Heavy Feet. born ruffians // countdown (beyoncé cover) video

Hailing from Ontario, Canada the band Born Ruffians are Luke Lalonde (guitar/vocals), Mitch Derosier (bass), Steven Hamelin (drums) and Andy Lloyd. And yes, they make beautiful rock indie music effortlessly, and recently they’re def one of my favorites bands to listen to. The boys are holed up in the lab right now, doing what they do, i.e.  making great music! I imagine soon enough they’ll sprinkle us with songs laced with fairy dust aplenty.
