Hummingbird Archives - The Earology Dept.

Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. In case you missed out, Local Natives made some pretty memorable music in 2013, and you’ll still find it reverberating in ears in the most mundane places. That young girl on the bus with her shyness tucked safely within the melody of Heavy Feet. Trailing Breakers loud and clear from a car cruising down the avenue, or the Hummingbird LP ebbing and flowing from your fav indie music blog. born ruffians // countdown (beyoncé cover) video

Hailing from Ontario, Canada the band Born Ruffians are Luke Lalonde (guitar/vocals), Mitch Derosier (bass), Steven Hamelin (drums) and Andy Lloyd. And yes, they make beautiful rock indie music effortlessly, and recently they’re def one of my favorites bands to listen to. The boys are holed up in the lab right now, doing what they do, i.e. making great music! I imagine soon enough they’ll sprinkle us with songs laced with fairy dust aplenty.
