dragonette // rocket ship

With lyrics like, “your cookies creamy middle yum” the brand new song from Dragonette is a whole lot of fun, albeit risqué, goodness! And as an added bonus the track is yours for the taking as a FREE DOWNLOAD. You can’t beat that with a stick! And just so you know, this song is taken from the band’s forthcoming LP Bodyparts which will drop this coming September (US + Canada: Sept 25) and (Europe: Sept 24). But folks there is more!

Get your browser on over to Talenthouse to see the full lyrics of the song of the band’s song, “Untouchable”. Here’s the deal, the Dragonettes invite you to use the lyrics to create your own version of the song. Add music, do it as poetry, make it a film. Whatever you like – make it yours! The winning entry will be the official b-side to a future single, and we’ll give you a fair piece of your version (depending on what you do) if we release it. The contest ends August 17th, so pull out your guitars, laptops, hairbrushes, microphones and get recording! Peace. Continue reading “dragonette // rocket ship”

And, we thank the universe for delivering Soul Clap safely unto our collective ear spaces.  I’m just thankful their EFUNK album is now living and breathing amongst us mere mortals, and just you know it’ll blow your hair back. The 13-track album in now available on iTunes for your pleasure. So, do you and your own private Idaho a favor and cop this moment in space for all of eternity, or at least until the mother ship comes and collects us. Peace. Continue reading “Soul Clap // EFUNK”
