the helio sequence // can’t say no

Ever wonder how some bands escape your notice? Well, the Portland duo The Helio Sequence is one of the beautiful bands that for some unknown reason have completely circumvented my radar, until now. I’ve listening to tracks from their album Keep Your Eyes Ahead (2008) and I keeping repeat in an attempt to make up for lost time. Mean Jeans // Anybody Out There

Yeah, we know Portland is one of the bestest locals on the planet for indie rock bands and the fans who adore them. So, it is of little surprise that local band favorite Mean Jeans  is much beloved for making lots of cool punk noise. Check out the squirrely video for the song “Anybody Out There” shot and cut by Brett Roberts. Sure, it’s cheesy but cheese goes well on the great big sandwich of life. By the by, this fun song is just 1 of 13 from MJ‘s latest album On Mars available on iTunes and Amazon. Peace. Continue reading “Mean Jeans // Anybody Out There”

Still no official details regarding a release date. After the jump listen and watch the Alberto Rossini directed video and let Ruth Radelet‘s tale up there. I’ve also included the “Lady” video as well, so stay for a bit and chill. Peace. Continue reading “chromatics // candy (official video)”
