Without a doubt Iggy and the Stooges are the reigning grand-Godfathers of punk-rock. Since the bad boys hit the scene in 1973 it has been on and poppin’. And what better barometer for success than their out and out popularity? I&TS are more successful now in the latter part of their 40-plus career than ever before, go figure. But yet, the rational for their success is simple, the band simply kicks your teeth in and puts a shiner on your eye with the literal onslaught of their polytechnic counter culture musical fare.
