Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. on an on // unison = bjork cover

When ON AN ON will hit the road in September for headline dates throughout the US, they do so with a limited edition cassette release. The cassette features the Minneapolis/Chicago trio covering two artists they share immense love and respect for as they humbly take on Bjork’s Unison and Hot Chip’s Boy From School. While only available in physical form on tour, the covers will be released digitally on August 20th. typhoon // dreams of cannibalism + video

Typhoon. All the bodies are everybody, and the songs likewise. Spiritually cloned and adorned.

Today is a good day. Why? Today the Portland, Oregon-based band Typhoon premiered their Matthew Thomas Ross directed video for Dreams Of Cannibalism. The song, with all of it’s wild ranging folk-rockin’ docility comes from their forthcoming album White Lighter, which drops August 20th, 2013 courtesy of Roll Call Records. My favorite song on the new album is “Common Sentiments,” and man can Kyle Morton sing his heinie off!

on and on // the hunter

the band On And On, which have roots in both chi-town and the jucy lucy, have been doing the music thing for a long time. finally though, Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing have combined forces and the results are solid. the trios latest is the album, ‘Give In’ via Roll Call Records. the first track, “The Hunger” is pure ear-candy. peace.
