A duet of voices twisting like damp sheets and tendrils of cigarette smoke.

Washington D.C.-based project GEMS is Clifford John Usher and Lindsay Pitts. And theirs is a sound piled high with all the angel’s breath heaven could spare and the hollow bird bones of a light feathered durable ambiance.
