Basecamp consits of Aaron Miller, Aaron C. Harmon and Jordan Reyes and together they one of my favorite music production teams. Hailing from Nashville (I know right) this team of talented musicians, songwriters and producers do music so right it glistens like a lingering kiss. With the first single Watch My Back from their forthcoming Greater Than EP it looks (read sounds) like they’re laying another winner upon our greedy ears. The Greater Thank EP drops August 21st via OWSLA. You can listen and Pre-Order after the jump. Peace.

Watch My Back: Lyrics

Sweet as our slumber
Sharp like an axe
Can you remember?
How good what we had

You can’t tell me you don’t mean to
And I can’t act like this is right
The game we play has gotten oh so see through
At the end of the day, what’s one more night?

So, I watch my back, whenever you are not in my front
Brace for attack, ’cause I never really know what you want

But when the lights go down
It’s a torture that I cannot resist
I should turn around, I suppose I could stay if you insist, oh

Goes fast I’m falling
And he leaves like a ghost
So lonely, so haunting
My poisonous host

You can’t tell me you don’t love it
and I’d be lying if I said I mind
I could pretend that I am above it
At the end of the day, what’s one more time

So, I watch my back, whenever you are not in my front
Brace for attack, ’cause I never really know what you want

But when the lights go down
It’s a torture that I cannot resist
I should turn around, I suppose I could stay if you insist, oh

I can play your fool, it’s such a small price to pay
Let me break your rules, I promise you won’t complain
I can play your fool, it’s such a small price to pay
Let me break your rules, I promise you won’t complain

But I watch my back, whenever you are not in my front
Brace for attack, ’cause I never really know what you want
But when the lights go down
It’s a torture that I cannot resist
I should turn around, I suppose I could stay if you insist

Oh, ooh oh oh oh
Oh, ooh oh oh oh
Oh, ooh oh oh oh
Oh, ooh oh oh oh
