Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. I find it quite amazing how two Swedish sisters (Johanna & Klara Söderberg) manage to sound more heartland Americana than native born denizens of the USA. Perhaps I’ll never know. I do know this, the sisters from Stockholm, Sweden are nothing short of amazing. If you haven’t already heard of them, then I implore you to peruse their debut 2010 release The Big Black & The Blue. I still shake my head every time I listen to it, because I am constantly blown away by the absolute power and beauty of their vocals. Early next year “The Lion’s Roar”, is expected to drop on January 24th, there is a teaser clip below. This time out producer Mike Mogis from Bright Eyes is at the helm, as if I needed further reason to be more excited. The first video is a teaser from their forthcoming album Lion’s Roar. I have also included Johanna & Klara’s song “Waltz For Richard”, from their epic 2010 release The Big Black & The Blue. By the way, I’ve heard through the grapevine that Conner Oberst will also appear on the new album, how wicked is that?
