Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog. Joywave / / Koda Vista

There is something very familial about the Rochester, NY band Joywave in that the band is much more than the sum of it’s four core members (Daniel Armbruster, Sean Donnelly, Paul Brenner and Joseph Morinelli), and when quartet need additional help a veritable village appears and the number of counterparts can easily swell to almost a dozen members. Perhaps that is the reason the band sounds so expansive. But quotients aside this band is drawing comparisons to MGMT and Passion Pit, and although the music call fall into the super sonic ultra electro realm is also vastly different in so many ways, but alas I’ll let you be the final judge. Listening to the bands mini-album Koda Vista one hears so many influences. Instant favorites are “Who Do You Like” and “Smokestacks” but the fun doesn’t have to stop there. For an additional hit or two on the music bong, check out the band’s August 2011 7″ featuring the songs “Ridge” and “Traveling At The Speed Of Light”. On that note, listen responsively. Peace
