Plugin Name: Distrify Embed
Plugin URI: http://support.distrify.com/customer/portal/articles/264106-how-do-i-embed-on-a-wordpress-blog-
Description: Extends WordPress's Embeds allowing bloggers to easily embed videos from Distrify. Just go to any Distrify film page or player and copy the URL. Paste that URL in any WordPress blog and it will automatically be converted to an embedded Distrify player. If you are logged in to distrify.com it will automatically add your affiliate tracking code to your embeds. Make sure you turn on Auto-embeds in your WP settings and also make sure that the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). The plugin also extracts the still image from the film and saves it as the Featured Image for the post. This actually works for any Embed (not just Distrify) that you embed into your WordPress blog.

If you know the music of James Blake, then you got the bruises on your heart to prove it. And if you know the music of James Blake, then you too have awakened hungover from the after effects of over consumption, the slight metallic taste of music on your tongue. Not need for bios and past accomplishments. No need to go on about how magical the music is, because all these things are evident to all who know the music of James Blake. Peace. Over ten-years going and as fresh as ever! Kevin Barnes and crew have conjured up another phenomenal batch of sound potion with the new album titled Paralytic Stalks. We’ve already been teased with two singles “Wintered Debts” and “Dour Percentage.” And for your listening pleasure the entire LP is streaming online. Do you want something funky and whimsical in your life to turn up the corners of your mouth? I hope you’re like me, because I can always use any and every excuse to smile my most infectious smile. Santa Barbara’s futuristic hippie-ish band Gardens & Villa have what it takes to plaster a permanent grin all over your good looking mug. Their sound is a complex mix of clam bakes, wooded forest trails and interstellar space travel all wrapped up with the glowing psychedelic rainbow bow of Chris Lynch‘s voice. It’s a party for sure, albeit a laid back and dreamy soiree. I just visited their bandcamp and grabbed a bit of their magic for myself. And I must say, thus far it’s the most satisfying purchase of the day. Peace. Continue reading “Gardens & Villa – Spacetime (Video)”
If you happen to need a good reason to smile, then simply take matters into your own very capable hands and click on the tracks below. Yes. Instant smile eh!. The self-described Psych-Pop trio Keepaway are on the literal cusp of releasing their debut LP Black Flute via Das Racist’s Greedhead label. So, in honor of this momentous achievement let’s all play their stickily and funkily song, “Cake,” well into the night. Well, at least until those rowdy braless uddered cows come home way past curfew again. Damn cows! Peace.
slough off your indiscriminate woes/lift your head/let it go.
Listening to 13 & God compels me to write bad haiku-like poetry, but when I listen to these guys jam I get wild flights of fancy syndrome. Hey, it is what it is. The songs“Armored Scarves” and “Its Own Sun,” are songs which make you hug yourself and hum along. These guys have stories to tell, and although their latest release Own Your Ghost has its definite highs and lows, the two tracks below are certified helium. Peace. Continue reading “13 & God – Armored Scarves / Its Own Sun”
