Not one to rest on his laurels Brooklyn, NY-based producer Chi Duly puts a hell of a spin on one of Toronto’s soon-to-be favorite sons The Weeknd. And what he’s done is no mean feat, on Balloons Of Haus what you hear (and your body feels) is a cross sampling of The Weeknd’s complete body of work. From his first offering House Of Balloons, then onto  Thursday, and finally culminating in the latest Echoes Of Silence. Now, The Weeknd’s  growing mass of fans can move from listening to Abel Tesfaye in the bedroom and move it to the dance floor, but I have a feeling the vertical dancing will be just as dirty. Drake Ft. The Weeknd // Crew Love (Shlomo Remix)

No doubt, 2012 is going to reveal itself to be the year The Weeknd blew up sky-high into the stratosphere. And it seems as if The Weeknd‘s homie Drake is doing whatever he can to make sure  Abel Tesfaye gets a lot of shine. Check this track out, and although it says Drake is featuring The Weeknd it appears that it’s the other way around. The Weeknd – Same Old Song (Paper Diamond Remix)

Let the bass creep curiously into her ears. Around her throat it will kiss reckless beats down in-between her … Yes, this remix is a bit X-rated and as funky as it can get. Paper Diamond is skillful with cutting open a song and inserting nuclear powered artificial hearts like a surgeon at the top of his game. Watch it nah! Don’t get to close to the speakers they’re possessed with the P to the D and his beats will cut cha. Here, Alex B has taken The Weeknd‘s already bangin’ track and poured rocket fuel all over it and the song ignites; like Hendricks taunting flames over his Strat. But we ain’t roasting marshmallows around here (or guitars). No, we’re bringing bodies together like puzzle pieces. Paper diamond + The Weeknd = Vicious!  Like I said, “Watch it nah!” Peace. Imagine. Create. See. & Dream. Welcome to the visual creative synergy of wunderkind The Weeknd and Mikael Colombu. Not many get it right. They did. As exquisite as Mr. Abel Tesfaye‘s music is this video is just as impressive and beautiful; and being an art history student the symbology is impressive too (horns, owl, Nemes headdress, etc.).
