You Love Her Coz She’s Dead – Leap of Desire

What better way to kick of a Friday than with You Love Her Coz She’s Dead or YLHCSD for short. These aren’t just a couple of blokes from Brighton, UK creating post-punk tinged electronica, this is a duo (Elle & Jay) laying it down extra thick. Don’t get it twisted. Yeah, you may think after listening to YLHCSD that YLHCSD biting on Crystal Castles.  Yes, the obvious influence is apparent, but hopefully with the release of their self-titled forthcoming LP they’re sure to gain a wider audience.  I’ve listened to their track “Leap Of Desire” (I), and every time it gets my blood pumpin’. Also, check it out the entire album below, and as a bonus I’ve also included the premiere video for “Leap Of Desire (I)”l. How nice am I? Peace.

P.S. Thanks Sheldon for the correction.

  1. Get your facts straight. Crystal Castles formed in 2003 with their first tracks appearing online in 2004. Their first vinyl singles in 2006. Their first collection of old singles compiled in 2008.

Summer 2006 was the summer of CC’s Alice Practice & Crimewave. Where were you?

There’s nothing wrong with the fact that YLHCSD are influenced by bands like Crystal Castles and Justice. They’ve picked the greatest bands of electro to take cues from!

    1. Thanks Sheldon I appreciate you setting me straight. I’ve only been privy to listening to CC for only a few years. So, its no surprise I made an error. I’ll get it corrected. I just love the music man. By the way thanks for posting. Peace.
