Those in the know, proclaim Twilite Tone is the sound of Chicago, and I’m not about to argue with such proclamations. Tone, a prolific DJ for the past 20 years, with deep roots steeped in Techo and the House sound is kicking up a whole lot of extraterrestrial dust as of late (as if he’s ever stopped) . All I know is my ears are feeling “Mean Machine,” in all its funky/bouncy/spacey oddity. His first EP Mean Machine will make your feet lust after the dance floor. Peace.
